One of the Best Places To Visits in Ullensaker Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very special location. I'm happy that we stopped visiting, and i got a chance to visit the site It was as I'd expected it to be. Love this place. A good memorial for the victims of World War II A very atmospheric place- we visited during a thunderstorm…. Made the scene even more dramatic! I think it would be improved with an explanation of why the firing range is designed like that, with multiple arches. We looked it up later: targets were placed under each hole (arch). Tanks would practice aiming a with a different range (distance) at each target. The concrete walls are there to catch the shells that missed the target (of course.). A shame there were no photos of the German tanks practicing there or maybe more tank model details for the enthusiasts. There was a good amount of information about the prisoners of war who were executed there, which was very sad to read but good that the info is there to be remembered. A place for an interesting small walk to see where they used to practice shooting with tanks. Also a memorial of fallen soldiers there. Very special location for remembering some of those who gave their lives so that we could live in a better place today. an interesting place full of history This place carries a haunting mix of history. Once a training ground for tanks, it also served as an execution site during darker times. Eighteen mass graves remain, and visitors can walk the same path that those condemned once took. It's a somber, powerful experience—and one that stays with you long after you've left. Book a guide, the story of the place is worth hearing. Because of the chalk they used for the graves, these can still be identified. Amazing place. I was there in 1969. To see the tree trunks where prisoners of the Nazis were murdered and the scars in the bullets left in the bark was and is truly sobering.
