Hotel, castle, small shops and a cafe in beautiful surroundings. A place for the whole family. Well, this our third visit to this marvellous place near the Baltic Sea in Northern Germany, and it is certainly not our last! Everything lived up to our very high expectations; the room (Brunello), the dinner and the breakfast. And yet... You can always find a hair in the soup, and this time the chef had changed the garnish for the main dish "glasierte Ochsenbacke" from Brussels sprouts, parsley root and "Schwarzwurzel puré" to a barley gruel. The barley was nice in itself but was lacking the many contrasts in taste that the advertised garnish would have provided. And the change was not announced by the waiter... Nevertheless, a great experience once more, but with some room for improvement. Interesting and rather chic range of businesses located in the buildings of an old estate. It was just after Christmas when we stopped to browse and it was very quiet. We appreciated the setting, enjoyed the buildings, bought something and drove on! There’s also a restaurant amongst the retail units that looked very inviting, but we didn’t stop to eat. Beautiful place with restaurant, galeries, shops, and nice walks with view onto Baltic Sea Excellent Beautiful place...beautiful lamps, a little expensive nothing under 1200 euros 🤫 Beauty area to visit. Parking is easy to find and the buildings are great to view. Great forest hiking nearby.
