Grand, historic, elegant, roomy, a good venue for partys, weddings, not a restaurant but catering available through Salons Van Dijck, next to royal park of Tervuren. Excellent food, very friendly staff, very helpful in all situations. We had a fantasic party there! Very beautiful building facing the tervurenlaan ! This is not the Royal for central africa, wich is located behind it. I don’t think this place is accessible for the public though. when i was there, it was closed. However, looking at other google reviews, it seems that it’s a place for private events ! Plenty of parking available right in front of it. While the is modern, the parc quite scenic and the exhibition really interesting for adults, it lacks interactive elements for children. Also, the floor plan is rather confusing and parts of the exhibition were broken (VR experience, speakers at AfricaTube, some screens). Not what I would have expected from a newly renovated museum. Should be visited for sure. Area around is a huge park. Almost like a forest. Interesting to visit with a bike and continue to travel to Waterloo. Always nice to have an evening gala there. If the weather permits, the terrace on the back is wonderful We participated in the 'Escape Room,' which was a lot of fun. While the first challenges felt a bit childish, the rest of the tasks were great for exploring the museum.
