From a whole summer of in sites across five countries this was by far the friendliest and most helpful welcome I received along with local maps, location and opening times of local shops and restaurants and recommendations of where to go. The site itself is nice as well with good facilities and decent free WiFi. Super friendly receptionist helped me out . First she wanted me to pay 35 euro for 1 small tent for one night. When I said I would go somewhere else, all of a sudden the 35 would do for 2 nights. The second night rain was announced and I wanted to change to a tiny basic so I didn't have to go on a ferry with a wet tent, she allowed me to use a without extra charge. Super! Swimming pool, ample space and large kitchen, dining room and washing machine. Shower free with a card from reception. We booked a more expensive accomodation and payed in advance. When we arrived at the camping, they didn't want to give us the we actually booked, but a much less comfortable, smaller with bunk beds and without bathroom... This owner is unreliable and refused to refund us. We definitly DO NOT RECOMMENT this place !!! We spent a night at this campsite and had a great experience. The owner is a very friendly man who helped us figure out a good spot to temporarily leave our trailer and motorcycle. The campsite is clean and well-maintained, with enough to do even when the weather isn’t great. We camped on the hikers’ field with our tent, where there was a communal fire pit — perfect for lighting a cozy campfire in the evening. Restrooms where sub par and dirty. Dirty with cob webs everywhere. Dirt and sand underneath the beds and the sofa. No compensation or apology for why it was so dirty. Pool was extremely cold for a hot summer day. Very close to the city centre but would've been cheaper to have a hotel room for one night than the prices for the cabin. Would not recommend to anyone. Don't go hear, the amount of money you pay for what you get is ridiculous. For example the energy: we barely used energy, but had to pay 35 crowns per day. And the where we stayed in was 6 square metres and there was only some sand on the floor that we wanted to wipe out of the door when leaving. Unfortunately there is no stuff to clean the cabin. We were charged 150 crowns (20 euros) for the end cleaning. We were so unhappy about this that we sent an email after our vacation about how bad the is. A lot of questions and a lot of possible things to improve for the owners. But Misses from the doesn't speak English or German too well, and about the cleaning she said; ''End-cleaning 150 crowns (because you didn´t do that yourself). ,, It speaks for itself that they don't want to improve or listen to our comments. Don't go hear. We booked the campsite for the Dana Cup early, when the participation of our daughter's soccer club was confirmed. The campsite is ideally located for the tournament and the pitches are beautiful (except when it rains, some are under water). These are the only positive points. In retrospect, we realized that you get ripped off if you book early, as we paid double the regular price. This is all the less justified as the sanitary facilities are outdated, in a desolate state and are only cleaned once a day. Only cold water is available for washing up. Absolutely not recommended. There are plenty of other campsites nearby.
