They managed to use the most inexpensive frozen food throughout the menu. Even the ketchup was a cheap brand disguised in a Heinz bottle that was obviously refilled with something from Aldi. I had a cheeseburger that was disappointing from the field salad, the frozen pattie and the super cheap toast cheese all on a cheap Rema bun. My husband's meal a schnitzel dinner was equally disappointing. This expensive meal was just a mess which is a shame because it's not that hard to make their menu selections well, you just have to try. Awesome food. Pepper Steak Medium Rare. Highway 69 is a nice restaurant inspired by American highway restaurants. The food is very with great prices (based on Norwegian average). The staff seems to be quite stressed/disoriented at times but at the time I visited it was quite busy so I get it. Overall it's a great place to eat if you're looking for some American food. Just passing by on holiday. Very food and very friendly staff. Quick service. Arriving without reservation with a party of nine on a saturday evening...? No problem! The dishes are very tastful, nicely arranged and contain more than enough. We had the steak with garlic, the ribs, one large and a kid's pizza... all was perfect. Medium drinks are half liters, so thumbs up. Large parking area. Young waitresses, but they manage just fine. Amazing food and service. The steak was a little overcooked for a medium, but it was really tender. The price was okay and the soda was not overpriced. After the second visit: This place is fantastic, I ordered the XL ribs, and it only cost as much as a steak. The price for food here is quite cheap compared to the quality of the food(in a way) you get a lot of food for not that high of a price.
