Råbjerg Mile this is beautiful nature preserve that's got it a lot of sand Definitely the best part of our Denmark adventure trip!! So Worth flying into Aalborg to visit this area so peaceful and feeling so close to nature and God!! Had the most incredible weather for September and having to drive in and out of fog so was extremely careful but so worth the adventure This was super fun to run around on! Great views of the area. We could not find the building that is meant to be amongst the and it seemed like many people were looking for it. No toilets. Carpark is close. There is parking for caravans and bigger vehicles. This is kind of a MUST SEE if visiting Denmark and definitely if visiting mid/upper part of Jutland!! 2 square km of sand that moves around 15 meters every year is just amazing to experience in real life. Amazing view here and you can easily spend long time here just walking and enjoying nature at its finest 🙂 ! Muss man unbedingt gesehen und bewandert haben! Lohnt sich wahrscheinlich auch sehr, wenn die Sonne untergeht! Very beautiful and surprising sand dunes. Good access and a nearby parking. Visit on a warm and sunny day to get a desert-like feeling. Our 12 year old was very impressed. The is very close to the parking spot. Parking is free. Unique incredible views. Fun to slide down the dune. Lovely way to spend the day. Combine it with Grenen and it’s a great day trip! Really cool huge sand surrounded by an interesting landscape. Unusually there are no WC's at this site. Zuerst habe ich gedacht, naja eine Düne... Aber der Weg dorthin lohnt sich. Mega.... Wie eine Wüste... Tolle Aussicht.... Assolutamente da vedere. far from the coast. Quite peculiar place although besides climbing on the top and then walking down there is nothing else to do. Also info is quite minimal. Absolut sehenswert, kostenfreie Parkplätze in ausreichender Anzahl, top The desert is moving because it’s trying to flee from the tourists’ trash. After 30 min I had a bag full of trash from the inner desert, not even speaking of the parking lot. Chewing gums (great for dogs btw), cigarettes, bags, tampons, food, socks, tons of handcherchiefs… you’re doing great with your ‘it’s just one chewing gum’-attitude. I’d like to know how you’d react if I sticked just one bubblegum into your hairs. Sad to see how disgraceful some people are to this AWESOME place. TOTAL DISRESPECT! Beautiful location. There is plenty of parking, free toilets (probably 7/10 on cleanliness when I visited). The are amazing. It’s very easy to walk to a the edge of the where you have a large view of the dune. It’s not handicap accessible however if you can walk it’s a short easy walk to the edge. To climb the it took about 30 minutes for a group of young people to climb to the top. View is worth it. You can see both the North Sea and Baltic. Easily see skagen and whatever cruise ship is in port. Great visit for the family. Very clean. Be ready to get blown away by it, quite literally. The strong winds here make this quite an intense experience!
