On the return journey, we took flight from Bacau, one hour's drive from Focsani. Visited some historic attractions like Union Square obelisk & monuments, the public garden when you will see lots of people relaxing on the benches and kids playing. We visited other tourist attractions around that areas in Focsani on a self guided walking tour. Very nice place to spent some time with family or friends when the sun is out Nice outdoor place for family Surprise! Surprise! The nowadays look rivals the 30-40 years ago look. Even if I would prefer it more green as it was once, I have to admit the look is very pleasant, combining old elements from the former architecture with new well matched modern elements. Good place with lots of kids playing. So it's nice to bring your kid and relax. Good place for children, many swings and slides are there. Floor of the children area is soft and safe for babies. Paid public toilets are there. Public park in the center of Focșani. In the evening it is a very lively place, full of local people and sellers of local street food.
