As a caver I was skeptical of the beauty of a man made mine, but the water, ice, and light combined with a lovely light and sound show made the mine quite lovely. Dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes! Amazing day spent under ground on the "adventure tour". Our expectations were exceeded. Not too physically demanding and our took care of us all the way providing both the confidence we needed as well as details of the historical backdrop. I can definitely recommend a visit! You even get a bit of a work out when entering, but especially when exiting the mine. Everyone should come, it offers truly spectacular dry caving opportunities and even event happenings. The Alf and Juk helped us to overcome our doubts and fears. If you are afraid, you can ask them to double check your equipment and the safety measures appear to be very reliable!! We had a great experience on the tour, it was a good challenge! This of an old iron mine was a superb experience, with lots of easy climbing, via ferrata, a warm fika halfway through, and a zipline over an lake! The were amazing and were very knowledgeable about the history of the mine. 🧗🏻🪢 My wife and I are cavers from the US, so being isn't new to us, but this was our first time in a large man-made mine like this. It was impressive and surprisingly majestic, especially seeing all of the hard work and engineering that went into its creation. ⛰️ We just came for a tour, but they even have a big stage and have shows here at various times of year. The was 4 hrs approximately and the via ferrata was super fun and just a little challenging (mostly due to the darkness around you rather than the actual steps), so it was a perfect balance. They provide a break in between, with some warm drinks and food. Could be worth it to mention any food restrictions you have in your booking, so maybe they could try to accomodate it (I am allergic to gluten and I could not eat the sandwiches. I did not mention it so I did not expect anything for me, and am not sure they could even if they knew, but can be worth to mention). Die Adventuremine war der perfekte Ort für einen ganz besonderen Geburtstag! Wir haben an der 4-stündigen Abenteuertour teilgenommen, ausgerüstet mit Helm und Klettergurt ging es tief hinein in eine stillgelegte Mine. Das Erlebnis war unglaublich abwechslungsreich: Klettern am Klettersteig, eine Seilbahnfahrt über einen kristallklaren See, das Überqueren einer Hängebrücke, und zwischendurch eine gemütliche schwedische Fika-Pause mit Kaffee und Gebäck. Ein echtes Highlight war die Lichtershow in der Großen Halle, begleitet von Fackeln und Musik, die die besondere Atmosphäre der Mine perfekt eingefangen haben. Neben all den Abenteuern haben die außerdem viel Interessantes und Wissenswertes über den Bergbau und die Geschichte der Mine vermittelt. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass die immer an die Wünsche und Voraussetzungen der Gruppe angepasst wurde. Der Aufstieg zurück erfolgte über den Tagebau und rundete das Erlebnis eindrucksvoll ab. Alles war perfekt organisiert, spannend, informativ und absolut einzigartig. Ein unvergessliches Abenteuer, das wir jedem nur empfehlen können! Wir kommen gerne wieder, das nächste Mal zur Sauna-Tour. Was für ein atemberaubendes Erlebnis! Haben die Abenteuer mitgemacht. Absolut sehenswert und der Guide hat spannendes von heute und aus der aktiven Zeit der Mine erzählt. Wir empfehlen es sehr! You will be outfitted with climbing gear and even though it’s not really difficult to take all the stairs and the zipline, the gear is there for a good reason. If you’re comfortable with that, this will be worth your time and money. We had a team of 3 on 6 participants. We heard about life in the mine and what they’re doing with the mine these days. And then we emerged in a tropical rainforest having journeyed through the center of the earth. Or so it seemed, Sweden being so green… there is a reason for that.
