First and foremost.. This is a fantastic one day's travel and experience from Stockholm, without having to Travel further up north which requires stay and longer travel duration with other Resorts.. Just under 3 hours of Bus travel from the Central station and return to the city by 1900.. For being so accessible from Stockholm it's very good. It's not particularly tall so the runs feel short if you're used to bigger resorts but it is good variety. A small park, not suitable if you're just hoping to visit for the park. They do well to keep the "snow" in a good condition despite being so late in season, it was slushy in places. Fast lifts with plenty of seats to shorten queues. Just right for one day. Great great place. Fantastically well organised, they have understood what makes people come back and recommend the place. Everything went so smotth and fast even though it was quite crowded. So impressed. And the slopes and ski lifts were all that I expected, easy to get up and so much fun to get down. You can book a ticket online to get there. It’s takes only 2 snd a half hours by bus. It’s a wonderful place for a ski daytrip. Very many choices and difficulty slopes to choose from. Most slopes are long and enjoyable. The easy ones are a little flat but long and winedy so you can enjoy the ride. Many chairs to bring you to the top. I recommend the place to people that have had at least a day of sky practice. Amazing family ski area 2,5 hours from Stockholm. All is well organised, even trauma point in case. Not to worry, just relax and have sport and fun. Visited for the third time yesterday and I'm super impressed by this place. The entire facility is very new and well maintained and functional with the added bonus of being nicely themed and feels very cozy. There's two mountains with lots of slopes of all different kinds of difficulty. The geography restricts how long the slopes can be so they're all fairly short. Still, compared to any competition around it's way better skiing. The staff is all incredibly friendly and it's all very nicely managed with the logistics working great. It's rarely super crowded and when it is it still works well. I can't recommend it highly enough if you want some skiing closer than the proper mountains. I've been at Romme Alpin twice this year. Both times, excellent experience. The whole booking process online of the private ski lesson, skipass, and ski rental was smooth and pain-free. Their ski lesson instructors are excellent. In terms of the facilities, the skilodge is cozy and has many options in terms of foods. Highly recommending a visit or two 😁.
