After the experience of being "entertained" in an in London, I was intrigued and pleasantly surprised in finding one in Ferrara (actually offering three different types of room). Ignoring again my gut reaction based on solid common sense (why should I pay to be handcuffed, blindfolded, and locked in a dark from which I had to earn my ?), I let my daughters convince me to go at it once more, during their Xmas visit in Ferrara. Our host/jailer/attendant Sara was very nice in welcoming us, explaining to us the whole thing, and graciously following us in our endeavours, mercifully administering to us welcome hints as she saw us stuck at some points in our attempts. We actually found the various riddles quite challenging, as the was quite well organised and structured around the various steps of the process. Any more information would be a spoiler, so I will just conclude that the four of us had one full hour of good fun (in spite of the morbid theme and gory details), and I am afraid to acknowledge that we may go back and do it again. Giulio and the are crazy fun. Great experience, nice ambience, and fun puzzles. Definitely math and logic oriented, not very action like, adult audience more than kids for our version. Still, can recommend A lot in Italian and they say it’s good for people who don’t speak Italian. But it is very necessary. First generation room. Wouldn’t not recommend for seasoned escapists.
