The food was great, the game could be better, but the win is a win. Update. Another visit 06/2025 for Belgian Cats game vs Germany. game, win, place was sold out! Nice and friendly as usual. Thanks to the staff. Big with some water games. Liked it. The price is reasonable. Very busy pool, a lot for the families and but everything is crowded for the ones that wants to do sport. The floor is clean but could be improved, the sauna is full and very small. Can be improved, as it very pricy ! It offers a variety of sports activities, and the gym equipment is quite good. However, it can get very crowded during peak hours, which makes it hard to enjoy the workout or find available machines. The is nice but often too busy, and finding a quiet to swim can be difficult. Some of the fitness classes fill up quickly, and booking in advance is a must. The cleanliness is generally okay, but I’ve noticed it could be better, especially in the locker rooms. Overall, it’s an average experience – not bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement. really bad experience, the fitness is ok, but the who maintain it do not care that there is A MEMBER who is behaving rude towards the other members and he sings all the time. I have complained, and obviously I am not the only one, but no actions taken… sad, this is the bare minimum you can do… and please Sportoase, don’t write me back, that you are sorry and you will check the case… no you are not! Because this is happening last couple of years!!! I like the atmosphere of the gym. For it's a bit more complicated since many lanes are taken for lessons and the free ones might be quite full. Sometimes I come with friends just to relax and enjoy the slides tho. There's also free frisbees at the counter for disc-golf. Au top after 3 months of paying my visa card, today in fitness terminal it's doesn't work.. I try few of my card's - nofting. It's normaly works in but not at the fitness (I go and ask)... sad experience, and no help from personal, except of "sorry" and "I don't know"... Lost client who come to pay are strange. went for Euro indoor Hockey tournament and it’s a set up bar and food very healthy - my down side? I could’ve really done with frites and mayo … but it’s a very healthy place 👏 Too expensive, quite some dirts in the An exceptional sports centre, especially the facilities and the children’s classes. I really started to dislike Sportoase! I went to the pool, all sportlanes (25m) were unavailable for the whole day. Beforehand i had checked the website to see if these was a race ongoing, nothing, yet there was.. waste of time. Oh, and they became insanely expensive +7euros for 1 swimming, in a lane with about 5-10 other people, awesome... i only come here when I'm desparate and even then it succeeds to disappoint me. Leuk zwembad voor ochtend zwemmen Eh, I don't mind this place, but 3 things upset me hence the 3 stars: 1. I've cut myself in a broken tile (as depicted). When I showed it to a lifeguard he was jokey and indifferent. This happened in the baby so any baby might've eaten a sharp broken tile… 2. The lockers are always dirty. 3. It's pricey for what it is. If you use all of it maybe it's a better deal. If you just want to go to the with a baby for an hour, the public option in Kessel-lo is 4 times cheaper. Nice gym/swimming pool, good instructors but getting more expensive by the minute. I would recommend going to the in kessel-lo or the basic fit/jims The pregnancy and baby lessons are good and teachers are but the staff at the reception are so slow and take ages for them to give you a ticket. Always long lines to access the area, so their system is not good at all. Only for some classes you can check in yourself, but for any other service you are forced to pass to this inefficient point of service. It is supposed to be a good sports center but they don’t invest in enough technology to make the access more efficient. In addition, they offer so many options for babies and toddlers yet they don’t have any decent place to change them. Doing that in a bench is definitely NOT ok. If you target this audience, at least provide decent facilities for families. There are really limited family lockers for the demand they have (plus they are super dirty), so they should have another solution for this. Filthy throughout. Changing rooms, bathrooms, kids’ play area — all consistently dirty and poorly maintained. This sport centrum is very popular among the people, absolutely recommend and enjoy this place, always open, you can use parking ( costs to pay ) , bicycles in front of the centrum . I will get number 9 from 10 , in the gym area you have big place for sauna and to many showers, With a one-year membership, you can also use the for free. First they make you pay the ticket, then you discover the is closed. Then they refuse to refund the money of the ticket. I guess they thought I was coming to the for showering I have been using this facility for 7 months now. I mostly prefer to swim but that is always a problem. Usually there are only 4 lanes to use as sport clubs tend to take 6. You have to compete with 6 to 10 in a lanes, faster swimmers do NOT use the fast lane and are inconsiderate to other in the lane because apparently they think they are better than other people. Then you have to contend with the “doggy paddlers” and “trying to swim back strokers” as well who swim in the middle of the lane while everbody else must try to pass them. It is such a pity i took out a year contract. The parking is rediculously expensive and to be able to stay in budget you actually have to go train after 7pm, no monthly option for parking? WHY??? I use the gym 7 days a week at 2.80 euro per day, DO THE MATHS I think i will be looking for a better option in the next few months so i do not have to renew my membership here. The gym is kinda livable if go to train and use the machine as designed instead of sitting on the iphones for 3 to 5 minutes between each set and are basically being inconsiderate of other who come in with the objective to exercise and get home within 90 minutes max. So far i have only come across 1 person in this whole complex who is friendly or helpful. As an expat one thing Belgians are bad at is service and customer care, such a pity for such a beautiful country The price for two adults and a baby is now over €20, I think €24. There is no family pricing. The parking is also not free. The facilities are nice but a bit dated. The wading is for toddlers, but be careful with the little slide in it, it has no sides so kids frequently fall off it and bruise themselves. There is no hot tub so you can get a bit cold. I attended two sessions of Level 1 at Sportoase, and unfortunately, my experience has been quite frustrating. The lessons are not standardized, and the training lacks consistency and seriousness. Over the 20 lessons I attended, I had three different trainers, and each the trainer changed, so did the techniques being taught—sometimes completely contradicting what I had previously learned. For example, I initially learned a breathing technique that involved inhaling through my mouth and exhaling through my nostrils. When the trainer changed, I was instructed to practice the exact opposite. While I understand that every trainer may have their own approach, the real issue arises when the evaluation is conducted by yet another trainer who has a different perspective altogether. This results in inconsistent feedback, making it frustrating to hear the same comments after multiple training sessions, simply because of these discrepancies. As a working professional, I dedicate my valuable after work to learn swimming, and I expect structured and standardized instruction. Despite being able to swim a full lap, including in the deep pool, I was still recommended to remain in Level 1—only because my technique aligned with what my trainer taught, but not with the evaluator’s expectations. I respect the effort of the trainers, but this lack of coordination is unacceptable. If Sportoase wants to provide quality lessons, they need to ensure that all trainers follow a unified curriculum and evaluation process.
