We stayed using the camping-car app. The site, which appears to be a former municipal run or similar, was easy to find. It's located to one side of the municipal rugby stadium and the fire station. We arrived in heavy rain (October 2024) and the wash facilities were closed, which was fine as we were in our camping car, so we had everything that we needed. The is well spread out, so none of the pitches feel cramped or on top of each other, there are plenty of green open spaces and shade provided by large and established trees. The isn't flat, but every effort appears to have been made to keep the individual pitches as flat as possible. We found the to be very quiet and peaceful. The service area was perfectly serviceable and we found no issues with it. There are plenty of electric points around the site, though you'll need the full length of your electric cable on some of the pitches to access the points. We really liked the site. It's close enough yet far enough away from the town centre to be able to wander in for a drink or meal but far enough away so that it's not noisy. There are 5 or 6 chalets at the top of the with details of how these can be rented located at the old office (photo added). It's worth noting, late in the season and year, that especially after heavy rainfall that there are only about 12 to 15 pitches with hardstanding, as the grass ones are waterlogged and very soft - you might get stuck! Pleasant location and facilities. The ground was very soft in mid-June and it's not level. We couldn't use our wedges to level up as the ground was so soft that we had no traction. Beautiful surroundings, super clean sanitary facilities, very generous sized sites. Highly recommend. For just €14 we have signed in for 24hrs. Usually, we go to campsites and no matter the time we turn up, there is a checkout out time. We entered here at 6pm. We get to be here til 6pm tomorrow. That is the first great thing. The second great thing... the size of the plots. They are well spaced and well shaded. The third and probably the best... The showers! They are strong and hot. There aren't any shiny overpriced bells and whistles here. It is what it is and it's great. A where you pay a fixed price, not a price based on how many of you there are, or if you have a dog. No surcharges. Turn up use the little machine and park. Simplicity. We paid an extra €4 so that we now have a card for these sites. We will be using them again. Great quiet little site, friendly reception, good basic facilities and strong hot showers! Very reasonably priced. Camp away from the toilet block as the doors do tend to bang! We didn't stay long but the little town looked sweet and is an easy walk away, beautiful surrounding area. Absolutely superb site, beautifully maintained and really peaceful. Toilet seats, paper and soap in the WC’s which you don’t get on most French campsites and washing up liquid for your dishes too! Lovely walks in the woods which lead down to the river. Recommended if you are a member of the camping carpark club.
