Great place to go an swim in the lake. Note that there is sand at the beach, but this ends at the waterline. So you're still stepping on rough pebbles to get to any depth. But it's more than worth it for the diving boards and similar platforms just off the shore. There's also a pretty decent restaurant there. Totally worth the few francs admission. Warning, there's VERY limited parking. So get there early, or you may be waiting a while for a space. Very international. Great kiddy pools, slides in the water for both shallow (suitable for non-swimmers) and deeper areas, diving platform and sunbathing platform, sand on the for the kids to play in. On-site snack/lunch bar with decent offer for lunch, ices, beers, etc. Changing areas are clean and roomy. Parking is limited so beware if you come during busy hours. Great family friendly local lido. Has a sandy and shallow access. Extensive playground and volley field. Very swimming place with a lot of playgrounds for children: several small pools with channels, water fountains, slides in the lake. Good (and relatively expensive) restaurant. Quite crowded on a Sunday. Terrific public lake access. The Strandbad offers for only CHF 5 great value. Easy access to the lake, a small sandy for the kids, a small bistro, lockers, showers and cleaning rooms. A perfect location for a swim on a hot summer day. [2023 update] restaurant is under new management. To our collective relief, they still have top notch nuggets! On the down side, there are few gluten free options and it took a long time to get my food. (Opening day glitch probably.) And they no longer have the beepers that tell you when your food is ready. But when we are tired of that sea alike time we can go to babypool. If we get hungry we have big choice of food. Potatoe salat and calmar rings are our favourite so far 😉 Only minus are steps in baby pool! Many kids falling down because steps in baby pool are invisible under the water! They do learn and remember at the end but i think it would be very handy to sign thosr steps with withe line along or blue one just to let kids know there are 4 steps not just 2 😉 Very with some sand (mainly pebbles though), not too crowded (since there is a lot of space), restaurant/bar, terrace, some platforms and slides in the water.
