Everything is buried in pointless paperwork. The opening hours are a joke if you have a job. Feels like they’re stuck in the last century. Be aware. They are very strict! Passing the MFK on an older car is more stressful than a job interview 😂 On the other hand, this also gives confidence to buyers who want to buy a used car. So, even if I am angry with them not passing my MFK, I acknowledge this is how it should be. The people speak English, reply to emails very promptly, and are very professional. Premises are quite sleek, like any public service building in Zug. Have been dealing with the Verkersammt office for several years relating to different motoring topics, with several different people and departments. I must say the service, professionalism and friendliness is always very good. Mein Deutsch ist nicht sehr gut, mein Mutersprache ist Englisch... but staff are always happy to help in English wherever they can; they really try make it as easy as possible for people. They are always helping to find solutions for whatever problem needs attention. Thank you! Friendly, efficient and super helpful.
