Great food in elegant surroundings. The building is really old and full of character, lots of original features. Knowledgeable waiting staff. Excellent steak. Fantastic old school Danish inn with traditional smørrebrød and snaps. The rooms are quaint and stylish. The staff is courteous, efficient and informal. Very delicious smørrebrød, and friendly service. An absolutely charming and lovely place. We spent the evening here for a wedding dinner, and got served such dishes. The staff was so nice and professional, and the place itself is stunning. Highly recommend! This was a great great experience with spa and lunch 👍 We stayed here as part of our wedding experience in Denmark. The booking was easy through email with very responsive reception staff (Rikke) who helped us with room booking and table reservations (yes you need !) The rooms are very nicely decorated with an eye for detail. This 500 years old in seems newly renovated - without losing the charms of history. The view from the terrace is and they have a little SPA section (we didn’t get to try). The food is absolutely and I recommend to book a table because the restaurant is always packed. Over the few days we were there we had a chance to interact with almost all staff - and literally everyone was super nice and accommodating. Our main waitress was Christina - who we came to appreciate very much. As we did stay overnight we also had the chance to have BF there - very good as well ! Definitely worth a stay - and if you don’t have the time to stay - just go for an dinner. Jeg fik den bedste sild jeg nogensinde har fåået smorrebros. Very fresh and well prepare. We highly recommend the lunch menu. We never had the chance to come for the dinner. Dejlig sted og god mad. Service var også i top. Det er nok ikke traditionelt kromad, men en rigtig dejlig oplevelse.
