We spent a lovely day at Familienpark Drachental near Auffach, and it was a highlight of our trip. The itself is free to enter, and there’s plenty of space to play, relax, and enjoy nature. You only pay for the larger attractions – and the absolute highlight was the Alpine Coaster (Rundelbahn), which our kids would’ve gone on all day if they could!
