Really enjoyed the round here, greens and course in general was in good shape... course lay out has changed, so yardage devices may not work unless update has been completed so be warned!!!! Visited Lucan Golf Club not to golf, but for a surprise birthday lunch of a family member. The restaurant and bar area of the clubhouse was nice and spacious, the staff very friendly and accommodating and the food served was great. Would highly recommend. Great local club and has good food in the bar until late. Got a 7pm T-time on a Wednesday evening and finished by 10! Course in excellent condition Superb Sunday Dinner for Mothers Day thanks to Chef Keith Kenny and the team @ 19 at Lucan Golf Club. The atmosphere was amazing, fine food fit for a King and Queen, and engaging, friendly staff. The Restaurant- a chic and elegant establishment. Went here for father's day based on other reviews. Starters and main course were very good. Service was very good also. The one thing that let the place down was the cheesecake. Saw the cheesecake that other tables had and looked great. Unfortunately my portion was tiny, no bigger than my little finger. We should of sent it back but think we were just shocked by it. Excluding this the food is very good Super course and the new holes are fabulous... only small issue was the GPS watch switching between holes but that'll be fixed soon I'm sure ...I'll be back Great track, 3 new holes are a great addition, if using GPS equipment be sure to download new course before playing,otherwise all will be askew!! Greens were in great shape and the course was in immaculate condition, Played today of writing this, so this place was up to date best course iv played true greens well fixed pitch marks ok greens iv be to me expensive one the were not as well looked after. From the entrance too the very end stunning viewers accident course.
