It is a traditional Bulgarian restaurant on the road from Samokov. It has a beautiful interior, service, drinks and really cuisine. We ordered Shish, beef steak as well as many starters and we liked them all. For four people with drinks, we paid around 90 BGN. It is a pleasant restaurant with tasty food and very reasonably priced menu. If you are in the area, it is a food option. An amazing "kruchma". We had a great time eating traditional Bulgarian cuisine while listening to bangers from DJ KOKO. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is excellent. Huge portions, best schnitzel, great music, great serving, nice and tidy, nicely decorated, and next to a park. Wonderful place! Went there as a group of seven after a day of skiing. Nice place. The starters and the potatoes were pretty tasty and the vegetable plate stood out. Having said that, there is a reason a 3-star rating is applicable. We got a couple plates of the stew. The actual plate wasn't really but a mix of parts with something like pork (?) ones. There were like 4-5 of each on a big stew. Apart from the fact that it was not what was expected, the smell of the One plate was really disturbing to a grade where we didn't touch it at all and told the waitress to take it back due to its smell. Nobody came over to ask what was wrong, suggest an alternative or just apologize. Thankfully it was not charged at the end, but the whole experience wasn't pleasant. Honestly i expected a lot of more from this place. Ambient is beautiful, but first big minus was that we couldn't pay bu card. About food,some things were amazing (Turkish bread, kebab, pork kebabab, kacamak), but big disappointment were everything with minsed meat,(cevapi,meat balls,sausages 🤮🤮)it had some really strange taste. At the end, overall it's not bad, it has my recommendations,but for barbecue they are not even close to Serbia 🤷‍♂️ Rudest customer service I have EVER experienced and we were not the only ones commenting on this. Go next door instead would be my best advice (or literally any other restaurant in Samokov). Most of the decent reviews on here pre-date the current management/recent refurbishment but if what we experienced is typical, they definitely don’t deserve the old reviews. Disgusting. Nice indoor and outdoor place with tasty food, great and fast service. Reasonable price and portions. Would recommend eggs with mushrooms, green peppers with cheese mix and grilled meat. They say hunger is the best cook , In this case, hunger wasn't enough . After about 25 min waiting, we've received the Hajduk plateau (see picture). Unfortunately, most of the food there was overcooked and dry, the exception was the big sausage, which was tasty, but I suspect it was purchased from Billa, as it tasted the same. Very delicious food! The waitresses were very polite and we were able to find a table on a busy night after being rejected in many other restaurants in the area. We will definitely come back! :) The staff was friendly, prompt and welcomed us with our dog.
