Looks a bit tatty on the outside, but had a really and feels really clean inside. Some of the lanes have been upgraded with LCDs. It’s really affordable and we had an amazing time! I have been here now for over thirty years in three leagues with a low handicap, but I have never seen such fowl conditions as today. The owners of the bowl need to put money into the premises instead of just taking money off punters and league bowlers alike, it's daylight robbery. If you were wanting to bowl here on a night out, don't bother the centre as become awful. There are lots and lots of slot machines again positioned to take your money. Drinks are pricey, compared to the town centre, and food that's a joke just look around to see how many people are eating, or not. Many of the are very friendly but some are only there to pick up a pay cheque at the end of the month. The biggest problem is that it is run down and needs lots of refurbishment to make it fit for purpose. For a seasoned bowler the conditions are so erratic it is difficult to enhance your game. Get real owners or the financial rewards of this bowl will go down hill rapidly Needs a scrub. A lovely place, with great and everything you need to pass an hour with the kids. However, expect to lose a part of your suspension as you navigate the car park craters and maybe an eye as you walk past the deteriorating outside walls. Inside it needs the carpets and other surfaces deep cleaning or preferably burning. And do not venture near the loos unless you've recently had all your jabs.😕 atmosphere enjoyed it But drinks rather expensive Been here a few times yonks ago and for the first this year, and really please to say very relax atmosphere and great place to do practice if your into competitive teams going against others, also a fun night out with your love ones, with other amusing things from darts , pool table and arcade sections, a lovely little bar and cafe, this place seem to be going back to the old days wheres there's not so much shove into your face. Been coming here for many years and it has unfortunately been hit with degradation over more recent years. However they are trying to improve the place with new more modern screens for example though there does need to be more hands on as opposed to 1 or 2 people running between the front counter and the bar. The toilets are in serious need of a revamp as they often smell and are unclean. Overall its a fun night if you know what to expect, also the lanes can often be prone to breakdowns unless your on one of the end league lanes. Hoping to see more vast improvements in the coming months and also the outside is in need of a makeover as it looks worn down and unappealing. This place needs refurbishment. 2 has a few humps. The scoring was all over the place as the machine sometimes didn't pick up all the pins. That's understandable why it was the cheapest option. 16:33 sent a booking request. Never had a response. They clearly do not need the business. Management need to understand how a business works. It needs customers. We booked another group session at another place. night had there. Very dirty run down & lanes constantly breaking during bowling. Decent, a bit rundown but if you just want to go :) plenty of parking too The place is in dire need of a refurbishment. The outside look abysmal; run down and not appealing at all. The inside looks fine, but during our visit, our (14) malfunctioned 4 times, the pins either not re-appearing after a turn had been taken or the becoming out-of-sync with the turn in play. The 2p machines were lacking in prizes and multiple of the 2p slots were blocked or not working at all. The price for is very expensive (£16!) for one adult and one toddler, aged 2, for one game, which lasted about 20 minutes - during which my husband had to go to the main desk multiple times to inform them that the wasn’t working as it should be. Shame there isn’t another alley very local as we’d visit there instead. Would probably choose Nottingham or Derby as an alternative to here in future. Could do with a real revamp outdoor even a jet wash would look more appealing. Inside very retro Took my youngest for a game of today and paid for one game, the we had kept playing up and they changed for us and gave us an extra game for free. Great place for my daughters birthday party, all the children had a great time. Hot food, ice cream and cup cake included in the party deal and were really friendly. Thank you! Great to find a local walkable place to take the family. (Don’t need to drive into derby or Nottingham.)Friendly staff. Amazing pizza! Cant wait to go back again! Price is really good. The problem we had d is there was no balls big enough to get your fingers in. We went around the lines looking for large balls to no avail which spoilt it. The ball you did throw got stuck at the bottom half the Enjoy it my first visiting and i’ll never be back, the we was on broke four times and it took me asking for my money for someone to do something about it,i was here for around 2 hours and the whole the toilets weren’t checked, there was no toilet roll, urine everywhere and it was disgusting, the couldn’t care less and i was waiting at the counter for around 7 minutes to talk to them about our lane, this place is needed a deep clean and revamp, the machine are all broken, the toilets are disguting and the place it’s self is falling apart, there’s also broken tiles on the ceiling, never will i be back! Just wanted to say a big thank you for a fantastic my daughter had her birthday party there yesterday,we had the Glow and bowl package with pizza and a drink the children love it also we had Extra as well because we had 13 children, nothing was to much bother because we had the fantastic too people taking care of us and nothing was to much so I like to say a BIG THANk YOU too macy who just don a fantastic 5 out of 5 star 🌟 for just looking after us all and a big 5 out of 5 stars 🌟 to jayne for making the amazing food thank u so much 🥳🥳🥳 Really disappointing the state of the alley! the interior and external features really a let down, they really are lacking funding to modernise the place! I was really upset when I went to see it in such a state as used to be really Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
