This actually is rather quite good if you need some time to yourself and the children need to burn some energy. Prices were also good main seating in the middle with activities to either sides the have a small café at rear, where you can grab a coffee. The were friendly and polite. The carpark was smaller than expected, but a short walk from the retail park with a very large carpark. We visited on Sunday in the afternoon. The girl on the desk was lovely, very smiley and approachable. One of the girls in the cafe was quite sharp and abrupt when I asked if we could pay to use the electric cars. It's almost as though she was ready for me to have a fight with her about the fact that the batteries had run out and the children couldn't use them. I couldn't care less, it saved me some money! But she was definitely ready for something! It's a great little area, although at the very top it wobbles and definitely made me feel a little bit uneasy. Especially when it's only held up by scaffolding. The coffee was terrible, but there's lots to do and it wasn't very busy! We recently visited Escape in Giltbrook with my son and had a great time overall. The itself is brilliant. Loads of different areas and activities, and plenty to keep kids busy and happy for a good while. A special shout-out to two members of staff, Ellie and Anisha. They were consistently kind, smiling, and genuinely attentive to customers. You can tell when people actually care about what they’re doing, and they absolutely do. They made the experience even better. The only downside is the way coins are handled. There’s no change machine, and coins are provided as cashback at the till. Because of limited coin availability, this is usually restricted to £5 per person. When many of the machines require coins and a child can easily use much more than that in a single session, it can become unnecessarily stressful. This feels like something that could be improved with better planning and availability from management. Aside from that, it’s a great venue and we’ll definitely be returning. With the coin situation sorted, it would be close to perfect. Absolutely horrific for under 1s. Broken, dirty toys and equipment from 20+ years ago. Baby areas full of older children climbing on and breaking toys/baby swings. uninterested and say they aren't there to monitor children or their activities. Save your money. It's a joke. Cafe is overpriced. Now I know why it was almost empty on a Saturday morning. Grim. ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ Took my daughter to Escape Centre for one of her classmate’s birthday parties (not her own) She had an absolute blast tearing around and catching up with her friends, so no complaints there! The staff, however, looked like they were solving a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded trying to sort access for a child in a wheelchair. It took a while, but they eventually cracked it, bless them. Coffee was… coffee. Black, hot, and existing. Nothing to write home about — but it did the job of keeping me awake in the jungle. Overall, the place was fine — nothing mind-blowing, but my daughter left grinning and slightly sweaty, which I suppose is the version of success. Oh, and pro tip for local parents: you can actually park around the back! Yes, really. You don’t have to risk your sanity battling IKEA traffic like a gladiator in a Volvo. Fit for purpose play. nice enough if slightly under staffed on this Monday. Go karts were not operating due to said shortage of staff. Entry price acceptable for location Cafe prices reasonable but it's older coffee machines that use powdered milk not proper steamed milk that ends up in your latte Didn't order food as you can get cheaper n healthier elsewhere ******"Update from second visit******* After speaking to before arriving the go carts were able to be run and they are a cracking bit of fun. Even tried the menu and the kids meals are value for money and the adult meal was nice enough ######### THIRD VISIT ########### As usual good value just outside Nottingham. Clean even though some of the movable elements are starting to show their age. More than happy to run the kiddy karts for the little one. Still not the best hot drinks but the skin on fries were lovely. A little bit quieter than I expected for a bank holiday weekend. As always will come again. The cost of this place is insane and it's krap! They have made it smaller and removed the ball gun for kids .. kids was so bored for the price £9 per child and £3 .50 for a jug of tap water with a drop of juice every where I go is £5 or £6 admission and £1 .50 / £2 jugs of juice no wonder it's never busy anymore !! Never comeing back here food is also very pricey and disgusting !! And has the whole place has a awful smell !! It's not worth the price better areas for half the cost ! From the moment we arrived, the were rude and unwelcoming. Instead of creating a fun, family-friendly environment, we were met with dismissive attitudes and zero customer service. To make matters worse, the fire alarms went off during our visit, and the entire fire saftey procedure was handled terribly. There was NO EVACUATION PROCESS no clear communication or proper guidance from staff—completely disorganised and concerning from a safety standpoint. In a place designed for children, proper emergency procedures should be a top priority, and they clearly weren’t; 10 minutes later they announced that it was a false alarm. Nevertheless forgetting simple evacuation protocols that is purely common sense. We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values basic respect and proper safety protocols.
