Classic night club in old town Bratislava. Our server was fantastic and took great care of us. The atmosphere and design is nothing special, but not bad at all - disco vibes. Very sentimental for anyone from old town Bratislava in the 80's - retro night brings out the older crowd - they played music, it's a vibe and great time! The place has a fun 90s bar vibe (at least that was my impression), and it’s a nice spot to hang out and dance. The music leans toward oldies, which worked well for the atmosphere. People were polite and friendly. It did get pretty crowded later in the evening, but overall it was still enjoyable. The bars weren’t too busy, so ordering drinks was easy, though keep in mind they only accept card payments. It was a experience. Ah, racism at its most refined. First, they ask for ID, and your Slovak card is somehow “not good.” Alright, let’s try a German ID then—surely that’ll pass? Nope, “not enough either.” No worries; you return the next day, armed with a passport valid across international borders. Surely, this will satisfy them. But wait, of course, it’s still “not good.” Then comes the insurance card, the international driving license, because, hey, they seem to be looking for something very specific. Still not acceptable. And when you half-jokingly offer to bring a criminal record, suddenly they’re offended—because obviously, this is all about procedure, right? It’s impressive, really: a place where international IDs and travel documents mysteriously “don’t work.” The layers of pettiness and polished discrimination here is designed perfectly.... Kudos to whoever dreamed up this flawless little game of “offical painted racism.” But it's legal, because nobody sued them (yet)... looking forward for final episode when the decision of the courts comes (coming soon) Stay tuned 😉 Great place, thanks to perfect face control. They sirt out people, who can be problematic, so the atmosphere is soofun and relaxing Great place to dance, security. Safe and happy place It is concerning that my personal data have been stored here for over three years without my consent. Under GDPR, data should only be kept for as long as necessary and with a clear legal basis. Respect for customer privacy is essential, and I hope the management will take this obligation more seriously. I do not recommend it. They did not let me in even though I had an Austrian passport and the employees at the door could not answer me about the reason for this. It seems that this is an unwelcoming place for foreigners and other nationalities unless you are Slovak.👌 Let me try to explain what racism and discrimination is to Luna Bar as based on my experience there and the reviews I’m reading, they don’t have a clue. ChatGPT helped ✨ If a policy or machine disproportionately harms certain racial or national groups, and the organization does nothing to mitigate it, it is discrimination. Ignoring Alternatives Is a Choice. If the system fails certain groups, but the club chooses not to implement manual checks, they are actively maintaining a discriminatory system. Saying “we treat everyone the same” and “rules are rules” while knowing that your system unfairly impacts specific groups is a textbook case of systemic racism. Blaming “the machine” is avoiding accountability while perpetuating discrimination and racism.
