Nice place for i find place very expensive over all was ok We've been to the Christmas and Halloween events at Luggwoods. Both were and the small man had a ball. Plenty of parking with parking attendants, staff are friendly, train ride is fun and the "treasure hunt" style theme running through it all is great. Highly recommended. We booked a Christmas activity and was not disappointed, the staff/actors were very good and involved the and parents at every point. The forest looked lovely with all the lights. Well worth a visit. little forest lot's of nice walk not to long for lot's to do for them highly recommend it. I would like to see more mix wood forest and real nature and wildlife conservation not just bike track and coffee shops. people like to see animal plants and mushrooms. More work need to be done on this this more wild life in my garden then Wicklow all if the time but they have very little habitats to live in with just 8 % of forest lift in Ireland becose of greed and lack care for Ireland wood land I hope real work will be done on this in the future do love the woods let them run camp fish explorer see the animals in the wild not just on tv and the zoo. The Luggwoods Halloween pumpkin patch 2024 was an absolute HIT. This was our first with Luggwoods and can only praise the entire team for a genuinely unique and immersive Halloween experience! From the first cabin to the end of the trail the was interactive, immersive for visitors and fun for the little ones! The trail was just long enough (25-45 minutes) depending on the pace and since it is located in the woods, even the surroundings add a little chill in the spine. The decorations were very interesting to see and there was definitely a lot of thought and effort put into this experience. Ticket prices were also acceptable and there is plenty of parking at the site! Was over all, it’s a mini hiking trail *up hill* face painting at the entrance, with stops with different activities to get involved; throw the hoop over the horse, stuff the scare crow, find some Easter eggs ect…, then they visited the Easter bunny at the end, overall the lasted 45 minutes at the end you get your Easter egg from the bunny then there’s a gift shop to buy your photo with the easter bunny followed by pony rides and tea cups on the way out, I did have a double twin pram some of the paths was harder to get by than others because it’s the woods and trees roots are growing from the ground but overall it was a 1st trip to Luggwoods and it was amazing. Each little stop just got better and better. The two elves in Santa’s workshop were particularly but the icing on top was Santa’s sense of humour. Cannot recommend it enough, the loved it even the 10 year old! We went to luggwoods yesterday to see Santa a large group of 18 and we had a wonderful experience. The elf's are fantastic all with the and adults very fun and the loved it. The Santa was and the place is magical set in the forest.
