One of the Best Places To Visits in Bartiškiai Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Outside is nothing special. Red brick building. Inside is some exhibitions and main attraction is tower. From is beautiful view around area. Big river Nemunas is very close. Lovely with a fantastic you can climb for stunning views. Good size car park. Cafe is disappointing - plan by bringing something with you, there’s nothing else close. It’s a functioning secondary school. Lovely grounds and landscapes. Nice with great views from its tower. Castle with several things to see both around the and the park adjacent and also inside. Outside, you have the park as mentioned that is kept in very good condition. Inside you have the main attraction with the and also some smaller exhibitions. The cost for entry is 1,5€ regular and 1€ discounted, that is very fair for what you get to experience. And you get great views from up top of the tower. A thing to note though is that if you're afraid of heights then the stairs leading up the might be a bit hard for you. Since the stairs are not exactly the safest and are quite narrow, especially if people are going up and down at the same time. Free parking is available right outside the castle, but you might need to park a bit questionable if there are many cars. One of the only places that was open on a Monday and a great stop to break up the journey from the coast back to the capital. Great views from the top and cheap to get in. They could have made more of the history of the building (and perhaps explained some of the scary dolls). The café however did not look particularly appealing. Very good exterior with very sad interior. Basically, the is the only thing worth visiting inside - very good view. The rest of the is a bit disappointing. You can see the traces of a former "soviet" school. Since the price is dirt cheap, go for the view, skip the museum part. Hopefully they will renovate the place inside. If you are after the Interior, go to the Panemune - only 10km away, way more interesting. Excellent place to visit on a sunny July morning:) The park is so quiet and relaxing I could spend all my life there. Important addition: the road from Kaunas is excellent, AND the car on-site parking is free. Not really a “castle”, but rather a brick manor with a tower. You can climb to the top of the for view of the river. Overall nothing unique about this place Good place for a long walk and relax, there's little coffee shop ann souvenir shop.
