They explained every dish like it had a story, and honestly, it did. The food was beyond delicious. From the creamy soup to the ravioli and melt-in-your-mouth venison, everything was spot on. In April is open only until 6pm, last meal served at 4pm. They serve only tasting menu 3 meals for 36 euro, 5 meals for 56 euro. It seems expensive. The owner is lovely and her husband prepers all the meals. We had small cheese board for £30. We purchased local wino on the top. I don't understand the cover on the top of the chopping board? Casually arrived with high recommendations from local winery (Movia). Truly an outstanding establishment. The 5 course meal was an absolutely amazing experience. We spent over two hours, mid-afternoon, being subject to delicious refined dishes created by an amazing local chef. We even took breaks between courses to enjoy the view around the village. If you only have a little time, they also served quicker spek/cheese plates, that looked great, to other clients. The mountain top village provides a breathtaking 360• view of mountains to the North and hills to the South. This place is a must visit. Park in the village below and walk up to the fortified village. Excellent place and so is the food. We ate a 4-course menu, had an excellent selection of wine and also had breakfast several times. The service was excellent - the food presentation as well - and the unique ambience made it perfect for us. Absolutely amazing. Food, Service, Location and atmosphere. We enjoyed the 4-course option, and if I had more room in my stomach I would've gladly had the 6 or 8 courses! The value for the service and the quality of ingredients and preparation was amazing.
