Similar to the there is a relax feel but it’s studded with modern amenities. I can’t say enough positive things about my experiences here. I think returning again and again speaks volumes. The dinner was one of our favorites in Slovenia and the terrace was so relaxing. The menu is a tasting course menu with all local and homemade ingredients. We enjoyed some great wine with our meal as well. Our room at the hotel was super comfortable. It was not as modern appearing as the photos on their website (which I think just might be their newer rooms) but was still pretty, large, quiet, super comfortable and with air conditioning. Breakfast was an event and so delicious! There was also a safe spot to store our bikes which we appreciated. We had a perfect tasting menu with wine pairing. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the products and wine. After the dinner we slept really well in the new rooms on the second floor. The breakfast in the morning was also extraordinary. We will definitely come back and recommend the place to anyone who is a fan of fine dining and a relaxed atmosphere. Meals were amazing. Dinner was some kind of elegant risotto and then a sort of rabbit ragout. Breakfast was fresh fruit, cheeses, smoked meats, cereal, I don’t even remember what else but it was all delicious I was on a group bike trip including several people with special needs— vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free — and the chef dealt uncomplainingly and elegantly with all of it. Really I think he took it as a kind of challenge. A outstanding meal that I never would have expected in this small town. Accommodations also very pleasant, comfortable, and clean. We can only rate the as we stayed nearby: Wonderful, delicious food, very friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere on the terrace. The fact that the owners grow and produce almost all the ingredients themselves deserves special respect and was also a reason for us to dine here. We would love to come back!
