Situated directly at the border road, so in a tent may be little noisier. Sanitaries are socialistic remains and made for midgets. However, they were well maintained and clean. The camp is older but nice and clean. Its location is very good - just few minutes from the centre. There are a lot of big trees you can park your can under. The swimmingpool is great. No kitchen. One car + 2 adults + 2 childrens / 1 = 11500Ft. They accept debit cards. Only one negative is that the toilet rooms are too small and taller persons could have problem to sit there. Good campsite for cyclists, much appreciated pool on such hot day. Quiet, basic bathroom facilities. Very friendly staff and nice walk to town with lots bars and restaurants to choose from. Lots of trees Do not recommend staying here, it was so noisy at with a large group of young people talking loudly, yelling and playing music till 1 am. Even when I asked them for some quiet at 12 it made no difference. I tried calling the camp phone numbers but they weren't answered, there was no way of contacting anyone if there were problems at night. Also.the showers had cold water only. I was going to ask for my money back after no sleep and no shower but there was no one at reception even though it was after 8am Such a shame as it could be a great camp. I don't understand why it's doesn't have 4+ stars?? Fantastic location/reception/price/pool/facilities. We had 2 nights here because the other we looked at wasn't good at all. Beautiful city and super quiet. Many cycle tourists though we were in a campervan. 100% recommended Fine campsite for a cycle tourer. Dated amenities, but they work. I found the toilet and shower block really creepy at as suddenly all the lights would go off. It's very well located. There's tons of mosquitoes. A word of warning if you're approaching on the donau radweg from Slovakia, I would urge you to stay on the Slovakian side. The roads in this area are narrow and very busy with fast moving trucks. And at it was terrifying! Very basic. Toilets and showers (warm) work. Pool was open this morning. Place has shade from many trees. Lots of annoying insects at evening (but where isn't). Close to road but noise wasn't an issue for me. Wifi only near entrance at restaurant but not in area. Paid 13€ for one with electricity. Access to Danube river is quick and easy. Tatsächlich war es sogar so, dass ich den Pool für mich alleine hatte, weil gerade nicht mehr viel los war, bis eine Schulklasse kam. Direkt vor dem Platz fließt die Donau und es verläuft zwar eine Straße aber diese empfand ich null störend. Die Sanitäranlagen mögen nicht die Neusten sein aber sauber und alles funktionierte, also was will man mehr? Für mich eine ganz klare Empfehlung! Wenn wir nicht weiter gemusst hätten, wäre ich gern dort geblieben! Sehr sehr nette Betreiber und ein wunderschöner Platz! Jederzeit wieder! Na jaren weer terug op deze camping. Er is duidelijk geïnvesteerd in hygiëne. Zeer schoon sainitair. Verouderd maar goed schoon. Ook het terrein wordt goed onderhouden. Fijn zwembad! Aardig personeel. Lekker gegeten bij het restaurant. Mooie ruime, vrij te kiezen plaatsen. Veel schaduw. Op loopafstand van centrum. Helaas geen fietspunt voor de deur, daarvoor moet je eerst ook naar het centrum. Strandje aan de Donau wordt momenteel opgeknapt. Ben benieuwd naar het resultaat. Wij misten alleen een gemeenschappelijke koelkast. The location is absolutely perfect for a few nights for hikers, bikers, visitors to Esztergom. The sanitary part is also very clean but extremely dated (communal showers, no privacy but for a shower curtain). Though if you don't mind having only the basics, it is alright. We received a warm welcome by the (new) manager, who is working on all kinds of improvements of the site (a.o. the sanitary and reception). His English is very good. The camp site is large with good gras to pitch tents. Our stay was amazing, even though we only made a couple hour stop there, and the pool was amazing!
