Every old builiding/monument has its story...Garić grad reminds me of Pusta Bela... Large ruins of a medieval fortress. Main tower is being renovated and it offers a great view. Location is in the middle of forest near the highest point of a mountain. If you are in Podgarić definitely check out Garić Grad. You can reach it with the car. Beautiful but ruined, within the forest, partial conservation is going on. Partialy renovated, parking available 100m before the site on the small but paved road leading to "Pukli kamen". Watch out for the hornets near the entrance. Drugi put kako posjećujem ovaj srednjovjekovni grad koji je krenuo s obnovom kule. Pored Medvedgrada jedno je od najstarijih srednjovjekovnih utvrđenih naselja u sjevernoj Hrvatskoj. U predivnoj prirodi Moslavačke gore odiše svojom povijesnom ljepotom. Vrijedi posjetiti (može se i autom do gore uz oprezniju vožnju uskom cestom), ali trebali bi malo i srediti zelenilo oko njega, barem pokositi. A short (but rather exhausting) walk uphill from the parking lot. But it's worth it. The tower has been renovated. The walls are in ruins, but still pretty cool. The road is paved and you can reach the site with a vehicle. There is a small parking lot up there. But beware, the road is pretty narrow. I love places like this, therefore 5 stars. dont walk uphill, there is parking near the entrance. Ruins of a medieval fortress.
