Beautiful starting point for hiking in the area! Beautiful wall to Chateau de Reinhardstein and Nez Napoleon. The barrage was great. Very watery and big. There is a little cafe here (it only accepts cash) and they have public toilets. The perfect place to start a hike! Leuk om eens te bekijken Park your car in the carpark, cross the barrage and follow the signs through the forest to the castle nearby. A great woodland walk even on a foggy day. Very impressive dam with a car parking nearby from where a number of beautiful small hikes start. We did a hike of 12 km which was based upon the green and blue mark during which we had to cross the river on our bare feet :-) Great environment for nature exploring! The scenery is good. You can also reach the Reinhardstein castle through some hiking paths. Nice dam and don't forget to visit the small waterfall and castle;) Nice view, great geocaching but not the most spectacular place in Belgium.
