Such a great ride and tour of Ponte de Lima! The workers were great and super friendly. They made us feel super comfortable gave great instruction before and during the route — stopping at certain locations to check in with us before continuing. My group and I did the two hour ride which we found to be the perfect amount to travel up and down the mountains. Beware that is does get super sandy/dusty in the summer months. They do provide goggles and sell bandanas to wear on your face, but the bandana was quite thin, so I was still getting sand all over my face, and in my nostrils and slightly in mouth, so I would suggest packing something thicker. The ride is rocky and goes up and down steep hills, so be ready for an adventure! Great experience to do with the family. If you want to enjoy the breathtaking views from the Nó (you can see the sea!), and experience Minho in a different way, definitely book the trip up the mountain with the buggy! The cars are very easy to drive even if you're not an experienced driver (like me) and the guide will explain you everything you need to know 😁 we enjoyed every minute of the ride and the view from up there was amazing! If you want a real adventure in middle of beautiful nature it's the perfect thing! :-) Exciting but at the same time safety! My family were visiting Portugal to vacation and visit family. As a fun and EXCITING family bonding activity, on August 25, 2022 we took the 2 hour ATV excursion and we were not disappointed. We did ATV excursions in Canada, Mexico and Dominican Republic in the past and NONE of them compare to the fun and authenticity of PLV!!! Pedro (the owner) was a gentleman and always ensured our safety. Note: this activity is not for the timid. It is true ATV-ing!!! And when the website says it may get dusty, Pedro says it will be 10x dusty in real life!!! True!!! And FUN!!! Best Experience EVER!!! Wow, what an experience! An absolute must do Trip if you are seeking an adrenalin adventure coupled with breathtaking views, excellent service and brilliant guides. However, after more than half of the route I realized the disappointment that awaited me. I found the instagram advertising and reviews misleading. It was expensive and the experience did not live up to expectations. I do not advise at all.
