I came here during my Euro-bike tour for a night. Great hospitality of the people, really nice house, good ice cream, lot of baked and desserts they offer...The breakfast was also very good! While the overall experience was really good, I give it a 4 * because the price was a little bit high for a single room. If you are around, definitely stop by! Wonderful for cakes, coffee, simple pizzas and THE BEST GOULASH soup ever!! Friendly, super quick service. Definitely highly recommend. If there was a 10* rating I would give it 10stars!!! Fenomenal experience - both accomodation and the cafe. Our room was sparkling clean with gorgeous view of the mountains. Serenely quite and comfortable. Nice fresh breakfast every morning. The - absolutely the best deserts we ever had - words cannot describe how tasty everything is. So special! Freshly made in-house. Very friendly staff. We felt at home. Would definitely come back! We stopped here after going through the ice cave. My children loved their hot cocoa and the pastries were great. They even had one that was gluten free that everyone liked the best - we got several to go! Worst experience in an Austrian bar so far. I asked if they had vegan croissants, and they replied that I could have the savory one with cheese and ham. Then I ordered bread and jam without butter, but they added the latter to the final bill. The breakfast area was full of bees buzzing around the food and croissants. To top it all off, we spent 14 euros and 10 cents for an oat milk cappuccino, an empty croissant, and bread and jam (equivalent to 3/4 breakfasts in Italy). 7.40 euros for bread and jam is an absolute rip-off. They claim to accept cards but insisted we pay in cash. Highly not recommended. You don't expect Breakfast at this level, especially the Croissants are exceptional. Eggs are served perfectly to the point. Service is great.
