Good food First time ordering food there will definitely be back again This chicken curry and was delicious. I thought 'yep' girl was great. Stopped just for some chips, decent place although we prefer wishing well next to them. Everything is great, I recommend 👍 Chicken tenders were raw . Good quality reasonably priced food. I will go again Visited late one evening driving through Urlingford. Staff were very friendly. I ordered 2 battered sausages & large chip. The portions were good size, particularly the battered sausages. I personally felt over €7 was a little on the pricey side which is why I'm scoring it down 1 star. My tummy was a little sick that night and sausages repeating but was that solely down to the food, I can't be sure so it would be unfair to give negative feedback I thought. Food is OK but they are so mean with even a large bag is tiny 3.80 is outrageous won't be visiting too often. Absolutely disgusting food today from the Forge. Inedible even the dog turned his nose up. I reckon it been reheated more than once. like pieces of wood, fish batter burnt and no fish in half of it. Tasty fresh food my left foot 🤬 Legendary spot. Really horrible take away. Taco that come WITH NO MINCE!! Pink sauce and cheese and that's it. That is not taco chips, Charging 750 for this too and garlic cheese fries which is pretty much the same is 2 euro cheaper!! Pure rip off. I was left short a drink and a burger. And the food is gone really bad. Will never go there again and definitely do not recommend. Ugh Nicest chipper ever !!!!! Really sad to say , food was utter flop & service is rude. Honestly dreadful, to start off the guy taking the order comes across as fairly rude and doesn’t really listen to you. That was fine so when we got the milkshakes my girlfriend took a sip of mine and spit out an earwig. When the waiter came over with the food I mentioned to her there was an earwig in milkshake and she replied “ohh ok, Do you want me to change that” I replied yes please and she came back slammed a milkshake on the table turned around and walked away without saying a word. The milkshake was also the one she gave me originally she just put it in a different glass. Regretfully we didn’t leave at that point. We sat there and ate a bit of the food, chicken fillet burger was quite nice, can’t complain. The chilli chicken sub the chicken was very dry and the bread was very tough aswell as for the philli steak sub. were dreadful. This was our second time here first time we very much enjoyed about 5 months ago. All in all terrible experience and waste of money will never return. The quarter pounder consisted of a burger, onions and a small bit of ketchup (no lettuce, mayo etc.). The burger was dry and flavourless. It doesn’t represent any value for money. Had to through in the bin as food was almost inedible. Had to make food when I got home Got a garlic bacon cheese chip. The bacon was so burnt I couldn’t even put a fork through it. The needs sacking. When we walked in no greeting not even a smile. Sat down and placed our order of 2 teas, white coffee & a latte. 3 cod fillets & one small and a lasagne & chips. The only words spoken was yep, yep, yep. What was received was 2 teas, & 2 cappuccino,s should have rang an alarm bell. Food brought to the table was 2 square fish & chips, lasagne & chips. Then the final dish of fish , & curry sauce was served. We said this is not what was ordered she took the dish with curry sauce back and after a few minutes brought the cod fillet & chips. Nothing said about the other 2 wrong dishes. We went to the counter and spoke to another who said she would sort it but smiled at the other who took the order who also just smiled. Nobody came to remove the wrong dishes so we decided to leave. Before we left the table behind said he ordered t-bone steak & got lamb chops. More fool them for not saying anything. On our way out I can only assume it was the owner who spoke to us saying that the fillets were being cooked and they can only plate up what the has written. Clearly the does not listen or doesn't care or both. Personally I would have deducted the cost of the meal from her wages as they cooked 7 meals which were neither eaten or paid for.
