Since we've been there on September in cold weather, it was not busy there. The environment was beautiful and relaxing. The showers and toilets were clean. If you need to take a shower with hot water, you need to pay an extra money which is definitely worth it! Nice quiet campsite with large places. Friendly staff. Sanitair is ok bit old, clean but the number is way to low compared with the guests. This is a fairly large area featuring at least five small cabins available for rent. The cabins are basic, with no running water in or out, but they do come equipped with a stove, microwave, basic dishes (though bringing your own is recommended), and a portable heater. What's great: The service here is exceptionally friendly, and email inquiries are answered quickly. It's also very easy to find the location, and all essential services are available nearby. A welcome change for summer 2025 is that showers are now included in the price, no coins needed! Areas for improvement: Cabin number 5, at least, shows signs of past moisture damage in the corners. The cabins are also quite close to the road, and their sound insulation is poor, which might be an issue for light sleepers as road noise is quite noticeable. This noise also carries to the caravan/tent area, though it's a bit fainter there. There are two showers per gender, but the number of toilets is insufficient, especially during peak season. Also, be aware that the water pressure in the showers can vary wildly, likely due to the system struggling with simultaneous use across all showers and sinks. While Wi-Fi reaches the caravan/tent area, it doesn't extend to the cabins along the road – though with modern mobile data, this isn't a major hindrance for most The last camping place before Norway. Had an absolutely amazing experience here. Mostly because the owners were the most friendly and helpful people ever. I really wanted to make marshmallows and they reached into their own shed to pull out a portable fireplace and gave me coals. In terms of amenities and location everything was also perfect. Even after all that the price was cheaper than most campsites in Norway. Highly recommend staying here. A real hidden gem of a campsite with good facilities, situated in the most beautiful surroundings. The owners are super friendly and helpful and the whole stay was very pleasant. Can highly recommend the moose safari for a great opportunity to see the magnificent animals up close. It was very busy when we were there, but everybody seemed surprised by this, so it may normally be quieter!
