Formerly known as Eventyrfabrikken, this place was a magical haven for children—now, under the new management of Fun Plays, it is nothing short of a shambles. The transformation has been catastrophic. Gone are the days when could freely explore multiple floors, thanks to the complete removal of play areas on the second and third levels. Even the popular electric cars that once delighted our little ones have vanished. What’s even worse is that during our visit this weekend, the notorious ball-shooting area was nearly deserted because nothing was operational. Three trampolines, which should have been a staple of any fun playground, were closed off, and several corridors that allowed free movement for were cordoned off, creating a restrictive, uninspiring mess. This isn’t just a minor hiccup—it’s a total abandonment of the facility’s core mission. The new owners clearly have no respect or vision for this community asset; it’s as if they’re intent on dismantling it piece by piece. To make matters worse, the facility was uncomfortably cold and downright filthy, leaving us to wonder if there’s any genuine effort to maintain or revive the place. In short, Fun Plays isn’t just failing to live up to its promise—it’s actively erasing the legacy of what was once a magical playground. One has to ask: do the new owners actually care about this place, or are they just speeding it toward an inevitable shutdown? If you value a safe, clean, and fully operational environment for your children, steer clear of this sinking ship. Firstly, am grateful this place is open during covid. Most of the indoor playgrounds in the Oslo area are closed, so this place is a haven for and their parents. I’ve been to Leo’s Lekeland and MegaFun a few times before, but this place beats them hands down. It’s enormous and the space is used really well - intricate and engaging mazes and jungle gyms that are challenging for and adults alike. It’s well maintained and you can tell they spent quite a bit on the design of the place, including the dinosaurs (which are huge) and painted in a believable way. It could have used more staff at times, but guess it’a a covid related thing. I learned while I was there it’s Norway’s largest indoor playground. I also learned children should come with built in homing devices. At least my 3 should. 🤨 Okay playground with lots of space and fun for both children and adults. Not recommended to eat food here due to lack of hygiene and poor quality of food. This is a Massive indoor play centre that accommodates for of all ages. It has a great dinosaur theme throughout with mazes, slides, ball pits, football room, basketball room and even Has bumper cars. There is a lot of parking outside and easy to get to. It is very dirty all around, which is especially critical in the restaurant area. The entire facility is way understaffed, which leads to both long queues and lack of order in the areas (f.ex. today there were many people with snacks and ice cream around the monkeybars, which previously was prohibited by staff). Many activities are broken, and there are lots of closed areas. some people here compare it now with a 'golden age' long ago, but it has deteriorated significantly comparing to 6 months back even. Terrible cleanliness, the carpet was full of lint, hair, and a smell. The floor, which didn't have a carpet, was sticky so your socks would stick to it with every step you took. The cafeteria tables weren't cleaned, the chairs were messy and had food leftovers. For the price, it could have been better than other parks, but it wasn't. Dirtiest I have ever seen! Once named Eventyrfabrikken now funplace and what a difference. It used to be a safe clean space full of life and employees that cared and took care of the place and entertainment for kids. Now full of junior high schoolers whome some do their best and other walk around looking like they have no clue what to do. The floors does not look like it's been cleaned in months/years and your socks stick to your feet after visits. Cleaning equipment like vacuums laying around with wires through food making zones (counter tops). Stay Away! Frankly, this place needs to be shut down... At the very most don't bring your toddlers here.
