One of the Best Places To Visits in Rimini Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Old Roman still in excellent condition. Currently just for pedestrians. No entrance fee. Great views from just down either side the canal. Definitely a must see when visiting Rimini. One of the highlights of a walking tour of the Roman sights of Rimini - it is amazing to think that this has stood for over 2000 years. The surroundings are well landscaped, and it is worth crossing over to see the murals in the Borgo San Giuliano. The Ponte di Tiberio carries two emperors’ names and two thousand years of history. Begun under Augustus and finished under Tiberius, it set a stone threshold where Ariminum met the great roads north. Five pale Istrian stone arches cross what was once the Marecchia, their Doric calm wrapped around a tougher core of piles, rubble and mortar. For centuries it took carts, riders and cars between the city and Borgo San Giuliano; now it is a slower for walkers and cyclists heading to Parco Marecchia and the Piazza sull’acqua. Legends, failed wartime explosives and Fellini’s funeral cortege have all passed over it, turning this Roman work of engineering into Rimini’s quiet emblem of endurance. This was completed in 12AD, that is OLD and it's history through the ages is remarkable. It is an easy walk from downtown and worth 30 minutes to stroll across and say you walked where so much history has taken place. A good old architecture bridge. Good for a walk. Some nice restaurants are nearby. You can see a lot of locals doing yoga in the garden nearby. At night when lights are on it looks more beautiful. Not a top place to visit but if you are Rimini then it's good for a short walking tour towards this bridge. Absolutely gorgeous bridge: to see it and the views from it. Also, it is accesible with a double buggy and it is pedestrian only, so it is a great spot to visit with small children. Still, watch out for the bikes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ponte di Tiberio, Rimini "The Ponte di Tiberio is an absolute architectural marvel. Despite being over 2,000 years old, this Roman still carries traffic and pedestrians today! The five Istrian stone arches reflect beautifully on the water, especially during sunset. It’s the perfect spot for a scenic walk connecting the city center to the charming Borgo San Giuliano district. A truly iconic landmark!" Worth seeing when in Rimini. When walking there be sure to walk with someone as there are some homeless people sleeping under the small bridges walking distance from this Historic Bridge. They sleep close by.
