A reasonably good place to spend one afternoon if you're passing through, the weather is bad (really cold or raining) and sitting in a hot water sounds like a good idea to you. The thermals were renovated few years ago, so everything improved significantly. Despite that, you cannot shake off the uncomfortable hospital/sanatorium-like atmosphere in some of the areas, which can worsen if there is a lot of people during high seasons (and especially lots of Czechs). The information online are poor and not updated. It seems that arriving in the afternoon means you will pay less for the daily ticket. Because nobody tells you what to do after you buy an entrance: Scan the plastic watches you received at the wall panel to figure out the number of the locker assigned to you. Then continue out of the door straight to the next building and depending on the number of your locker, continue upstairs or downstairs (the number ranges are written on the wall). Change into swimsuit, lock your belongings using the plastic watches and walk to the opposite side than you arrived to continue towards pools. I recommend bringing jandals and bathrobe, especially if it's cold outside. The outside have temperatures ranging from 28C (cold) to 38C (very hot) and can get crowded in a high season. There are two eating areas on opposite sides, offering pizzas and general fast food, beers, coffees and similar. Prices and quality of food are just okay and you can pay with payment card or cash, which will likely mean going back and forth to the locker. Food gets closed 1 hour before the closing time and 30 minutes beforehand. Nice (only 2 are thermal) and rest areas. We visited the wellness/spa and it was a disaster. Steam cabin had no steam. All floors are slippery. There is no outside cooling area. Its just three saunas in basement. There is a supervising lady at the door which talks a you can hear everything(no sound insulation). No feeling of peace. Worst spa I have been to. Surprisingly lots of and a relaxing atmosphere. It is big but stays cozy, you feel yourself amongst nice people, instead of just wandering around in a huge bath complexum. Which is much more comfortable and relaxing for me. I'm definitely revisiting the place. Even though it says so on the website, parking is NOT free. Parking actually costs 300 HUF/hr. And the parking machine accepts only cash. And only the exact amount. And the ATM next to it charges a ridiculous fee for withdrawing cash. Which the parking machine then doesn't accept because the bills are too large. Which is hard to tell because the parking machine has no option to change the language. No wonder every second car was having trouble paying for the parking, backing away from the gate again to sort things out. Very frustrating experience. Also, they are aware that the information on the website is "old" but are obviously still not changing it. Incredible. I didn’t visit the hotel, but the Spa. It was every nice stay, and facilities are clean. Gold and Silver are briliant. Swimming pool is a little bit obsolete, but still clean and usable. Food court is not a Michelin Star one, but acceptable. Very bad personal in bufet and not good food and awful behaviour from them If you want to come here bring your food and dont buy in bufet which is in inside they dont know how to act !!! + They give you a terminal in Hungarian so you have to enter the TIP because you don't understand anything. !!! Attention !! It over priced for the things you can do it is only like 1000ft (2,5€) cheaper than bük but it has a good amount of ok decorations but we don't swim in decorations it has 6 small (way less and smaller than bük) one small thermál 3 small ones and 2 swimming not the best wouldn't recommend it at all! Today, 1st of February 2025, 9:00 in the morning we arrived at the Flexum Therme. The floor dirty, full of eating rests, everywhere dust, hair, the showers unclean.
