Quite and good area to have a rest indidually or together with family. Also, here you could buy some snacks and some swimming equipment. Quite toilets and well organized change dressing rooms. Also shore and is quite clean. Thanks for the service 🌟🌟🌟🌟 4-Star Review for Kaarster See Kaarster See is definitely one of the more peaceful and beautiful places to unwind around the area. I’ve visited multiple times, especially during the spring and summer months, and each experience has been relaxing in its own way. The lake itself is quite clean, and the surrounding nature is well-maintained. It's perfect for long walks, a swim when the weather allows, or just lying on a blanket and enjoying the sun. The is generally clear, and there are several entry points for swimming, though it can get crowded on weekends or during heat waves. One thing I really appreciate is how family-friendly the place is. There’s enough space for kids to play, and many people come with their dogs (on a leash, of course). There’s also a designated grill area, which is nice for summer evenings with friends, though it can fill up quickly. That said, there are a couple of reasons I didn’t give it a full five stars. First, the parking situation can be a bit of a nightmare on busy days — limited spaces and some confusion about where you're allowed to park without getting fined. Second, there aren’t many food or drink options nearby, so you really need to bring your own snacks, water, and maybe even an umbrella for shade. Also, while it’s mostly clean, it really depends on the day and the visitors. Sometimes people leave trash behind, and I wish there were a few more bins available to help with that. Still, Kaarster See is a lovely escape from the city, and I find myself coming back often to walk, think, or just relax by the water. If you’re looking for a quiet natural spot to recharge, this is a great choice — just plan ahead a little and try to come early if the weather is nice! Great area, well organised and clean. Area sport, area children's Nice lake close to Düsseldorf. In 15 minutes from Düsseldorf you can drive to this beautiful lakeside. Water is clean. There is sand and grass where you can enjoy sun on a sunbed. On a weekday there where many youngsters around but easy to find a peaceful spot. There is a little buffet, where you can buy French fries, sausage and cold beer with reasonable prices. Not a far walk from the free parking to the waters edge...even in 40° weather the is clear and cool...never too many people...nice jungle gyms for the kids...we loved it( that's saying alot for people that lived by beautiful Cape town beaches) Almost everywhere around the lake smells like toilet of dogs. Bad experience. Marvelous Sand-See. There were merely few families in the start then it became quite crowded. It’s a good place for place picnic. The charges are reasonable; Adults:4€ per person, kids below four are free of charge and above 4 - 17 years are 2,50€. There’s a imbiss where you could buy pommes, curry wurst, chicken nuggets and few options of ice- creams. Pros: - I really liked the concept of renting the Sunbeds . Many won’t have be carrying it. This just made our day 😊. It costs 5€ for the whole day and a caution deposit of 15€. - Well maintained place and was clear at the shore. - Extremely toilets. - beach volleyball court is available Cons: Nothing really. It’s just there were too many wasps in the afternoon. Nothing the management could do! Be prepared for the guests. Location is good but on a sunny day it's extremely crowded like super super crowded you would feel like oh no.. Lovely place, perfect for hiding from the heat waves. Bathrooms, showers, snacks and drinks - all within a walking distance. Parking has never been a problem if you come before the busiest times. Super lake. It has 2 entrances and 2 parking lots. Sometimes gets full during warm/sunny weekends (queues for the entrance) but still enjoyable once inside Definitely the place to be in Summer, not far away from my place , I love to chill there , have a refreshing swim and enjoy listening to my music by the water. The bathrooms are clean, enough space to take a tan And the of the lake is acceptable. You can grab French fries, drinks and ice cream. Definitely visiting again and again Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
