Love Cadiz as everything is within walking distance and so much to see. Lots of little bars and eateries and shopping in local shops is lovely to collect lots of little bargains rather than mass produced items you find in most ports . Best places absolutely amazing for any keen photographer looking to take photographs of old school buildings when I saw them I was absolutely amazed and I've never been to this place before just visiting from P&O Iona it's definitely a town to check out on your travels A charming Andalusian city, winding narrow moorish lanes, lovely architecture, a nice beach and far less touristy than other coastal cities, perhaps due to not having its own airport. Jerez and Sevilla are the nearest. Nice port, town is easy to navigate as the ship 🛳️ parks right by the centre. Nice stroll along the old ramparts, which are literally 3 minutes away from the ship. Great city. Very easy to walk around the historic port and the centre is very vibrant. We spent 4hours walking around the walls (from the cruise terminal) then walked back more directly through the looking at the architecture and shops. Cadiz has plenty to offer, we did a guided tour of the before going to vineyard, traffic is very busy, but on foot there is plenty to explore. Cadiz is a lovely old town, lots of interesting shops. Nice port easily accessible from cruise terminal. The cathedral is well worth a visit. Watch out for waves crashing over the sea wall, many soaked visitors.
