Wine tasting at the end of the tour is acailable Beautiful chateau with edible flowers, an old chapel, a little maze at the top and wine tasting at the end. Dogs are allowed on short leads too. We got a good explanation about wine growing and making and left with twelve bottles of grape juice (red and white) and six bottles of fizzy rose. Excellent Gardens and great wine tasting. Beautiful gardens of a former chateau (burnt down in 1948 but some of the buildings remain). We were given a helpful leaflet in English to help us explore (this is an RHS partner garden). I found the large kitchen garden particularly impressive. At the end we tasted a couple of the estate’s wines and enjoyed enough to buy a couple of cases! Well worth a detour.
