Visited a good friend of mine while he sailed into Plymouth. His words not mine reference Queen Anne's Battery. Part of the same group that owns Torquay harbour so he can Moor for free. They even had some one to assist on his arrival. Not sure if that's normal however he did do a night time arrival. Good facilities like a shower etc. Cafe looked good, we saw Devon & Cornwall constabulary use it, it can't be to bad then. From a none sailing type dude, it looked great. Walked around the seafront here to get the not so usual views over the Sound. views enhanced by good weather. Such a lovely place in summer or winter for drinks or a meal. Looking over the harbour in the day time or all lit up at night. The food is lush. The new owners have made a separate private dining area inside. Free parking for two hours helps. Lovely Marina with a slipway for launching a boat. 5 minute walk to cafe's, shops and restaurants. Nice Marina, clean amenities, friendly and helpful staff, lots going on close by, short walk into town. Good showers, 2 restaurants and lots of marine services day Sea fishing yesterday from Quuen Anne's Battery, Plymouth. The conditions were perfect with a light breeze and almost flat. Boat total was around 30 fish between 8 anglers. All very happy and full Skipper Malcomb and his second in command Excellent marina with berths & trailer boat park with launch & recovery. Excellent bar with good food, a good cafe, excellent chandlery & other boat services. Staff are helpful & friendly as long as you follow protocol. Lovely marina, superb location for The Barbican and Plymouth Centre for shopping/sightseeing. Friendly staff keen to help. berth holders facilities offering clean personal bathrooms and plenty of further separate toilet and shower cubicles. Will definitely return Went for lunch, free 2hrs parking superb food, nice sea view, excellent staff service Beautiful <arina and places to eat & drink safe place to park, launch and moor boat. Catering and toilet/shower facilities Superb staff, ideal location, and some of the best marina facilities within a hundred miles. Always friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Outside, outside undercover or inside seating by the Marina. Fantastic food, service, excellent service & a lovely view. Would definitely recommend. facilities.
