A lovely little cove with a car park or on street parking. The main little is sandy with rocks with rock pools etc. If the tide is going out or is out walk to the right and you find another tiny little cove with trees and rocks and I found it to be beautiful and serene. There are free public toilets next to the and also a bar/restaurant. We only found 2 shops that were open and they were gift shops that were rather expensive. We had a lovely couple of hours here and would go back. Lovely pair of Cornish ex fishing villages, Cawsand and Kingsand. Ferry from Plymouth in summer months, bars and restaurants all good, nice walks along costal paths. A must to visit if you’re in the area. Can get a bit busy in the summer months so worth booking ahead for restaurants. Beautiful hidden gem of a beach! Lovely stands and rock pools to explore! Ice cream van and paddle boards to rent. Small enough to keep an eye on the kids but big enough to let them explore. Parking will be difficult I’m summer, but it’s definitely worth a visit! Beautiful little beach, virtually unspoilt, with a direct connection from the Barbican ferries that run regularly from Plymouth, although we tend to hop across by bus from Torpoint, takes about half an hour. There's not too far to walk to get into the water and it is cool enough for wild swimming. A lot of seaweed and flotsam when I last went which made swimming difficult and meant going out much farther in order to avoid. Excellent restaurant right beside the beach. The walk up and down to Kingsand is a joy, with some very special views out to sea and the coastline. Nice with sand and easy access to bus. Ideal for trail as it connect Wembury to Plymouth. Very pretty little sand beach, cafe also available for good coffee. Parking available about half mile up the road with pay and display. Very narrow roads around the town. But well worth it. Don't forget costumes, and stand up boards. No waves so perfect for relaxing Beautiful shale/sandy in a small cove with rockpools, quiet ( for Cornwall) and very family friendly with great disabled access. Very calm sea, with no big waves, ideal for swimming. Ice cream van, bar, cafe and bakery and clean toilets ( including a disabled one) right on the beach. Very exciting seeing the ferry landing on the beach. Best Cornish we've found for disability access. Very clean. Highly recommended.
