Wonderful that separates Cornwall and Devon. Interesting history and great views. Plenty of good walks from saltash to Plymouth over the and along the waterslide. It's free to walk across but I'm a car you pay one side going from saltash to Plymouth (£2ish) What can I say a beautiful ! It’s amazing to drive over you pay a fee when your driving back ! Taking you into the beginning of Cornwall or you enjoy Plymouth! We sat under the as well and took some amazing pictures as you can see ! A in history a fantastic build ! Enjoy the views while you’re driving over ! A brilliant view whether your on the train or bus or driving along! Would recommend a nice visit to Cornwall! Fantastic structure. Use this a lot. Lovely views from it both up and down the river tamar great for those of you who like to take photos. There is a charge if you are travelling out of Cornwall to Devon on it. Great opportunity to see some great trains from if on the railway adjacent to it. What a from civilisation to the barbaric other side. However you can decide which way is which. From the atmospheric fog bound river that clears as you leave the tunnel to the bright blue crystal waters to the life giving driving rain. It is all avaliable on the bridge. However you will still need a small mortgage to cross regularly. I use the tolls often and sometimes things do go wrong I find the operators very friendly and helpful I sometimes have to come over in my motorhome to and it looks big but it is only 3.5 ton so I do get asked but it’s never a problem so again great service Sounds weird giving a 5 stars, but if you drive through Saltash and head down the incredibly steep street to the riverside it is beautiful. We live fairly local, so our family treat every few weeks is to get McDonalds just off the A38 and eat it by the riverside under the bridge. There is a playground down there for the kids and it's very picturesque. Travelling over the beautiful Tamar to the toll to pay cash. We drove up and greeted the man in the toll booth a very happy morning greeting to receive not even a smile. Human being with a man bun start smiling else your day will be a very long one. Happy in his work I don't think so, but we are better than that and will continue our fabulous holiday.
